At Woodleigh , we offer beautiful vintage themed, indoor and outdoor parties and events at our Edwardian family home. Originally built in 1916 as the residence of the Pit Manager of Wombwell Main Colliery, Woodleigh is nestled in two acres of stunning mature gardens and is bordered on all sides by fields, beautiful ancient woodland, and picturesque views.
We can accommodate any indoor or outdoor party and event including, birthday parties, hen parties, anniversary parties, wakes, baby showers, christening and wedding receptions, as well as corporate away days. We also have a licensed onsite bar, as well as accommodation and camping available onsite. The space can be utilised in many different ways and our bespoke packages are tailored to each party or event.

After the last Pit Manager moved out of Woodleigh, the house was later used as offices for the Colliery and then turned back into a residential property some years later when the Colliery was closed. Woodleigh is now home to the Kershaw family.
The Kershaw's moved to Woodleigh on October 2014 and have been hosting guests in the onsite annex 'The Old Stables' since the Summer of 2015. We are extremely keen gardeners and decided to combine this love of the outdoors with our love of hosting and meeting new people, hosting our first afternoon tea parties, and outdoor events and camping in the Summer of 2017. Here at Woodleigh we take great pride in our events and want every occasion to be as special as it can be. We really love what we do and hope that reflects in the service that we provide! |
